‘Skin Care Therapy’ incorporates Skin Care and Holistic Therapies. Founded in 2005 by Louise Brooks, a trained therapist and stockist of Dermalogica, Jessica, Bio-Sculpture and Fake Bake products.
With over 20 years experience as a Registered Nurse, Health Visitor and a trained Psychodynamic Counsellor, my work as a medical professional under-pins and compliments my work as a Therapist.
My work has always had a personal approach, looking at the health of the whole person. In the fast moving world we live in, getting the balance right is all important. Treatments are designed to address individual needs and may be helpful in targeting stress relief, muscle tension, relaxation, or merely allowing for ‘time out’ and pampering in your busy life! Before starting treatments I take a full history to identify the best treatment for you!
My passion about good skin care also has a natural interface with my desire to promote good health. I have chosen the Dermalogica range of skin care products, established in 1986 by a British therapist, created to meet the needs of ordinary people wanting extraordinary skin care. Treatment products are chosen to target and treat the specific and changing needs of your skin, and thus each treatment is uniquely designed to meet your 
particular needs!
‘Face Mapping’ is used as a diagnostic tool for analysing and assessing issues you may be having with the skin on your face and neck, by looking at 14 different zones. Body treatments likewise use the system of ‘Body Mapping’ to enable an informed choice to be made, of treatment products for your skin.
